성과 종교교육에 대한 대순진리회의 관점과 실제

인간은 교육을 통해서 인간다워진다. 그런데 문제는 인간이 배우는 모든 지식과 규범이 항상 옳고 바른 것이 아니라는 점이다. 특히 교육에 있어서의 성차별은 남녀불평등은 물론이고 사회의 모든 불평등 상황을 반영하는 결과로서 나타난다. 성차별은 사회 전체의 복지와 발전에 큰 걸림돌이 되고 있으며, 비인간적이고 반도덕적인 것으로 간주하는 추세가 점점 일반화 되고 있다. 따라서 성의 개념을 올바르게 인식하고, 남녀차별에 의한 성불평등을 합리적이고 효과적으로 해결하기 위해서 반드시 필요한 것이 교육이다. 본 논문은 대순진리회의 성평등에 대한 사상적 배경으로 성차별과 성 고정관념 등의 왜곡된 인식으로 불평등을 격고 있는 여성성(性)에 대하여 대순사상의 음양합덕과 해원상생을 중심으로 양성평등에 대한 새로운 해석을 살펴보고자 한다. 해원상생은 쌓였던 원(冤)을 풀고 상생(相生)한다는 내용을 담고 있는 것으로 대순사상의 교리체계에서 가장 중요한 비중을 차지하는 종지이다. 음양합덕은 ‘음양의 덕을 합한다’라는 뜻으로 이는 음양의 차별과 불균형으로 인해 그것이 지니고 있는 덕이 발현되지 못한 것으로 억음존양(抑陰尊陽), 남존여비(男尊女卑) 등으로 표현되며, 음양의 불균형적 폐해는 선천세계를 진멸지경에 처하게 하는 주요한 원인이 된다고 하는 증산의 현실인식에 바탕을 두고 있다. 따라서 억음존양, 남존여비 등의 폐해를 극복하기 위한 방안으로 증산(甑山)은 정음정양(正陰正陽)과 일음일양(一陰一陽)의 원리를 바탕으로 양성의 올바른 관계맺음에 대해 그 정체성을 규정하고 새로운 이해를 제시하고 있다.

Education has been said to make ‘us’ human beings. But, one big problem in maintaining this maxim in reality is that not all knowledge or norms learned are right and impeccable. It is especially true for ‘the sex discrimination in education’ which leads to sexual inequality and is ultimately responsible for inciting all other sexually unequal social environments. Sexual discrimination has been long considered as one of the biggest obstacles that hinder development and well-being of society. And recently it has been argued against more generally as something very in-human and non-ethical. Therefore, it is necessitated for us to do “gender-equality education” consistently in order to help people to well-understand the right concept of “sexes” and ultimately to solve the sexual inequality caused by sexual discrimination on a reasonal and efficient basis. This paper explores a new interpretation about gender equality centered on the Daesoon thoughts of EumYanghapdeok and Haewonsangsaeng that daesoonjinrihoe ideological background on gender equality, such as gender stereotypes and gender discrimination of inequality that you’re having a female gender(性) in distorted recognition. Haewonsangsaeg is Jongji(宗旨) of the most significant proportion in the doctrine of daesoon thoughts, includes that release the accumulated won(冤) and sangsaeng(相生). Eumyanghapdeok means that add yin(陰) and yang(陽) of the virtues, the virtue could not be expressed it, due to the yin and yang of discrimination and imbalances, representative as Eokeumjonyang (抑阴尊阳), Namjonyeobi(男尊女卑), etc., which is based on the Jeungsan of perception of reality are represented as yin and yang of the disproportionate evil infulence to put you on the verge of a world utterly destroyed that the main causef. So a way of overcome the evils infulence Eokeumjonyang, Namjonyeobi, etc., Jeungsan (甑山) is presented it based on the principle Jeongumjeongyang(正陰正陽) and IleumIlyang(一陰一陽), rules identity about both sexes of a proper relationship and present a new understanding.
