한국인과 중국인 한국어 학습자의 상대높임법 실현 양상 비교 연구 - 요청 화행에 나타난 학습자의 과공손을 중심으로 -

A Comparative Study on the Realization Aspects of Hearer-oriented Honorific between Korean and Chinese Korean Learners - Focusing on the over-politeness of learners in request speech acts -

이 연구는 요청 화행에 나타난 한국인과 중국인 한국어 학습자의 상대높임법 양상을 비교하고, 중국인 한국어 학습자가 상황에 맞게 상대높임법을 적절히 사용할 수 있도록 교육적 방향을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 한국인과 중국인 한국어 학습자가 화자보다 사회적 지위가 낮고 친밀한 관계에 있는 청자에게 사용한 상대높임법의 양상을 교차분석(χ²)을 통해 비교하고, 중국인 한국어 학습자들의 부적절한 높임 표현과 이로 인한 과공손을 분석해 보았다. 연구 결과, 중국인 한국어 학습자들은 대화 참여자와의 관계와 상관없이 실수를 피하기 위해 높임 표현의 화계를 주로 사용하였으며, 이로 인해 부적절한 과공손을 야기하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

This study aims to compare the aspects of hearer-oriented honorific of Korean and Chinese Korean Learners in the request speech acts, and to make educational suggestions so that Chinese Korean learners can properly use hearer-oriented honorific according to the situation. For this, this study compared the aspects of hearer-oriented honorific of Korean and Chinese Korean Learners in the request speech acts through pearson chi-square test(χ²), and analyzed the respect of speech level that Chinese Korean learners are using incorrectly. As a result of the research, Chinese Korean Learners tended to use respect of speech level regardless of their relationship with the conversation participants, which was confirmed to cause inappropriate over-politeness.
