한국인의 정서를 통해 본 해원

Haewon(해원) through the Korean Feeling: Focus on Han(한) and Hanpuli(한풀이)

인간의 역사는 원한의 역사라고 해도 과언이 아닐 것이다. 현대라고 하는 역사적 시점 또한 그 범주를 벗어날 수 는 없으며, 오히려 물질문명의 발달이 가져다 준 부정적인 한 측면인 정신과 사상의 파괴, 윤리도덕의 타락 등으로 인한 증폭하는 원한은 인류를 진멸의 상황으로 몰아가고 있다. 이 연구는 해원사상을 이해하기 위한 과정의 일환으로서 원과 해원을 한과 해한(한풀이)으로의 대치를 통하여 원과 해원의 좁은 의미에 해당되는 한과 해한에 대한 논의를 목적으로 하고 있다. 이 과정에서 한민족의 내면 깊숙히 숨겨져 있는 민족적 정서로서의 한이 어떠한 양상으로 표출되었으며 민족문화와 사회 전반에 어떠한 영향을 미쳤는가를 논의할 것이다. 특히 해한의 과정에서 나타나는 일련의 현상들이 단순히 복수지향적인 것이 아니라 휴머니즘적인 화해를 바탕으로 하는 해한구조를 띄고 있음을 집중적으로 조명하고자 한다. 이러한 과정을 통하여 대순사상에서 제시하는 해원사상이 단순히 인간의 차원에만 국한되는 것이 아니라 사회, 국가, 우주적인 차원으로까지 확대되는 것임을 밝히고자 한다.

It is not too much to say that human history is the history of grudge. The historical point of time cannot be the exception of this hypothesis. All the more, all human beings are led to annihilable situations because of a negative aspect caused by the development of material civilization: aggravated grudge by destruction of spirit and thought, moral corruption. The purpose of this study is to discuss Han and Haehan which deserve narrow meaning of grudge and Haewon by replacing grudge and Haewon with Han and Haehan as a course to understand Haewon Thought. In the course of this study, I will discuss how Han revealed as deeply concealed Korean national feelings and what kind of effect did Han have on national culture and overall society. Especially, I will illuminate that a series of conditions is not just a revenge-oriented one but has Haehan structure based on reconciliation of humanism. Through this course, I am going to clarify that Haewon Thought shown in Daesun Thought is not restricted in the level of human but expands to society, nation and even universe.
