영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 완벽주의 성향과 배우자의 지지가 어머니의 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향

The effects of mother’s perfectionism and spousal support on parenting stress of mothers with their infanthood.

영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 완벽주의 성향과 배우자의 지지가 어머니의 양육스트레스에 영향을 주는지 알아보고, 영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니들의 어려움을 양육스트레스를 통해 살펴보고 양육스트레스를 줄이는 방안을 모색해서 출산을 장려하는 정책에 보탬이 되고자 한다. 전주시 소재 가정어린이집 10개소에 협조를 구해 200부의 설문지를 배포하였고, 총 168부가 회수되었다. SPSS 24.0을 사용해 분석하였고, 분석방법은 일원배치 분산분석과 사후검증, Pearson 상관분석, 중다회귀분석, 신뢰도 계수 산출을 실시하였다. 양육스트레스는 실패나 실수에 대한 두려움이 많을수록, 사회적인 기대가 클수록 그리고 배우자의 지지가 적을수록 높아진다고 볼 수 있다. 그러나 높은 기준설정과 관련된 완벽성이 클수록 양육스트레스는 감소하였다. 또한, 양육스트레스 중, 부모의 고통은 사회적인 기대가 클수록, 실수나 실패에 대한 두려움이 많을수록, 배우자의 지지가 적을수록 높아졌다. 부모와 아동의 역기능적 상호작용은 배우자의 지지가 적을수록 높아졌고, 실수나 실패에 대한 두려움이 클수록 자녀를 까다롭다고 느꼈다. 영아기 자녀를 키우는 엄마들을 위한 부모교육과 정책적인 다양한 조력이 필요하며, 배우자의 지지가 어머니들의 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향력이 큰 만큼, 아버지들이 양육에 참여할 수 있도록 사회적인 배려가 있어야 할 것이다.

This study was to investigate the effects of mother’s perfectionism and spousal support on parenting stress of mothers with their infanthood. This subjects of this study were 168 mothers who had 2 to 43 months young children. Data were analyzed by means, frequency, Pearson’s correlation, Cronbach’s α, multiple regression using SPSS 24.0 program. First, maternal perfectionism was higher than usual, husband s support that mother was perceived was high, and parenting stress was low. Second, parenting stress of mothers are decreased with increasing of spousal support. Parenting stress of mothers are increased with increasing of mother’s perfectionism. But, one facter of perfectionism ‘perfectionism regarding high expectations’, alone showed significant difference on parenting stress of mothers. There is a need for parent education and policy support for mothers who have 3 – year-old young children, and social support. And there is a need for the support of their spouse has a great influence on their parenting.
