‘페가수스’ 상징에 관한 의미 연구

A Study on the Symbolism of Pegasus

본 연구는 모래놀이 상자에 등장하는 페가수스의 상징적 의미를 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 모래놀이 상자는 내담자의 의식과 무의식이 표출되는 것으로, 상담자는 내담자가 표현하는 상징적 의미를 이해하고 공감해야 한다. 페가수스의 상징적 의미를 이해하기 위해, 신화를 통해 페가수스가 어떻게 탄생되었고, 페가수스의 상징적 의미는 무엇인지 그리고 페가수스가 현대문화와 삶에는 어떠한 영향을 미쳤는지를 고찰하고자 한다. 또한 5명의 성인대상으로 실시한 모래놀이상담 과정에 나타난 페가수스의 상징적 의미를 분석심리학적 관점으로 해석함으로써, 이를 통해 페가수스가 의미하는 다양한 측면을 연구하고자 한다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 문헌연구와 모래상자에 나타난 사례연구를 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 모래놀이 상자에 페가수스가 등장하였던 사례의 이해와 확충을 통해 영적존재, 조력자, 인간욕망, 하늘과 땅의 매개자, 힘, 모성원형의 상징으로 활용되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 향후 페가수스에 관한 연구의 기초적 자료를 제공했다는 점에서 의미를 부여할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the symbolic meanings of Pegagus in sandplay therapy. The sandplay therapy expresses the unconscious mind disconnected from the client s consciousness, so the counselor must understand and empathize with the symbolic meaning expressed by the client. In addition, in order to understand the symbolic meaning of Pegasus, I would like to consider how Pegasus was born through myths, what is the symbolic meaning of Pegasus, and how Pegasus has affected modern culture and life. Also, this study intends to study various aspects of Pegasus by interpreting the symbolic meaning of Pegasus in sand drawings in sandplay therapy conducted with 5 adults from an analytical psychological point of view. Accordingly, this study conducted a literature study and a case study that appeared in the sandplay therapy. The research results are the symbols of a spiritual existence, a helper, human desire, power, a mediator between heaven and earth, and a mother archetype through understanding and expansion of the case of using Pegasus in the sandplay therapy. This study can be meaningful to provide basic data for future research on Pegasus.
