특수교육 통합교과 교과용 도서의 활용과 해결과제에 관한 초등 특수교사의 인식

Perception of elementary special teachers on the use and problem of integrated subject textbooks for special education

이 연구는 2015 특수교육 통합교과 교과용 도서의 활용 양상과 이에 수반된 특징, 해결과제에 관한 초등 특수교사의 의견을 파악하여 향후 특수교육 통합교과 교과용 도서의 발전 방향을 논의하고 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 8명의 초등 특수교사를 대상으로 초점 집단 면담을 실시하여 4개의 상위 주제와 13개의 하위 주제를 제시하였다. 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 결론을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주제 중첩 방식의 단원 구성의 대안을 모색하는 과정에서 생활 주제 간의 관계나 위계의 타당성을 검증하고, 생활 주제와 관련된 학생의 관심사와 일상생활 사건을 정선하며, 학생의 성숙 과정에 따른 관심사와 일상생활 사건의 변화를 구조화하는 방안을 강구해야 한다. 둘째, 교과용 도서의 집필 과정에서 집필자의 교육과정 문해력을 높이고, 이를 바탕으로 개발된 교과용 도서의 심의와 검토 과정을 강화하며, 교과용 도서를 창의적으로 해석하고 활용할 수 있는 학교 교사의 교육과정 문해력을 높일 필요가 있다. 셋째, 학생의 특성과 수준을 고려한 교과용 도서의 개발을 위해 학생의 요구와 수준에 타당한 교과서의 분량과 학습활동을 조정하고, 학습자의 특성을 고려하여 부록 자료와 삽화 및 사진 등을 조정할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 수업에서 전자 저작물의 활용을 높이기 위해서 수록 내용을 다양화하고 풍부화할 필요가 있으며, 보다 쉽게 자료에 접근할 수 있도록 자료의 탑재 방식을 변경하고 자료의 구동 체제를 전환할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the problems, utilization patterns, characteristics, and improvement directions of the 2015 integrated subject textbooks to derive and discuss the tasks to be solved by the integrated subject textbooks in the future. To this end, focus group interviews were conducted with 8 elementary special teachers. The conclusions based on the results of this study are as follows. First, in the process of seeking alternatives to the composition of units in the overlapping manner, it is necessary to verify the validity of the relationship or hierarchy between life topics, select students interests and daily life events, and structure changes in student maturity. Second, it is necessary to increase the author s curriculum literacy in the process of writing the integrated subject textbooks, strengthen the deliberation and review process of the integrated subject textbooks developed based on this, and increase the curriculum literacy of school teachers who can creatively interpret and use the integrated subject textbooks. Third, it is necessary to adjust the volume and learning activities of textbooks appropriate to the student s needs and levels, and to adjust appendix materials, illustrations, and photos considering the learner s characteristics. Fourth, in order to increase the use of electronic works in class, it is necessary to diversify and enrich the contents, and it is necessary to change the method of mounting data and change the driving system of data so that data can be accessed more easily.
