사회복지사가 비판적 사회운동가로 변해가는 과정에 관한 질적 연구

A qualitative study on the process of transforming social workers into critical social activists

본 연구는 사회복지사들의 비판적 사회운동가로 변화과정과 경험을 탐색하여 그 함의를 모색하고자 하였다. 연구 방법은 ‘일반적 질적 연구 방법’을 수행하였다. 연구결과, 사회운동가로 변화과정은 ‘성과주의 폐해 자각’ ‘출구 없는 당사자의 문제를 목도’ ‘주류 사회복지 실천방법에 대해 저항하기’ ‘아웃사이더 되기’ ‘사회운동 지속요인과 미래’로 나타났다. 미시적이고 제도권 실천이 중심적으로 이루어지는 사회복지실천현장에서 비판적 사회운동을 경험한 사회복지사의 경험과 변화과정을 통해 거시적 사회복지실천의 필요성을 발견하였다.

This study aims to explore the process and experience of change as a critical social activist of social workers and seek its implications. A general qualitative research method was performed. The process of transforming the study participants into social activists was found to be performance s perception of harmful effects, purpose of problems of parties without exits, resisting how to practice mainstream social welfare, and continuing social movements and the future. The necessity of macroscopic social welfare practice was discovered through the experience and change process of social workers who experienced critical social movements in the social welfare practice field where microscopic and institutional practices are centered.
