여성상담자의 괜찮은 일(Decent Work)에 대한개념도 연구

Concept Mapping of Female Counselors Decent Work

본 연구는 개념도 방법을 활용하여 상담자의 ‘괜찮은 일(Decent Work)’에 대한 여성상담자의 인식을 확인하고 추후 여성상담자들의 진로 및 상담자의 일에 대한 의미있는 시사점을 도출하고자 진행되었다. 이러한 연구목적을 위해 상담경력 3년 이상의 여성상담자 15명과의 인터뷰를 통해 상담자의 괜찮은 일에 대한 내용을 추출하였고 이를 바탕으로 57개의 최종 진술문을 도출하였다. 또한 인터뷰에 참여한 15명 중 14명의 여성상담자들이 도출된 최종 진술문을 유사성에 따라 분류하고 중요도를 평정하였고, 이러한 유사성 분류 자료를 토대로 다차원 척도법과 군집분석을 실시한 결과, 여성상담자들은 상담자의 괜찮은 일을 2개의 차원, 5개의 범주로 인식하고 있었다. 구체적으로 2개의 차원은 ‘외재적 가치-내재적 가치’차원과 ‘개인적 영역-직업적 영역’차원으로 명명되었으며, 5개의 범주는 ‘사생활과 편의성의 보장’, ‘자기성장 및 욕구 충족’, ‘전문성과 주체성에 대한 인정’, ‘상담의 특수성을 고려한 업무지원’, ‘실리적 보상과 시설의 구비’로 명명되었다. 각 범주에 대한 중요도 평정 결과는 ‘자기성장 및 욕구 충족’과 ‘상담의 특수성을 고려한 업무지원’이 가장 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 기초하여 본 연구의 의미를 논의하고 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

This study was conducted to verify the female counselor s perception of decent work as a counselor, and to derive meaningful implications toward their career at present and in future. Apropos this the contents of counselors decent work were extracted through interviews with 15 female counselors with more than three years of counseling experience. Based on the interviews, 57 statements were finally derived. Of the 15 counsellors interviewed, 14 categorized and evaluated the final statements for similarity. Based on this similarity classification data, female counselors recognized the decent work of counselors in two dimensions and five categories. The two dimensions were external and internal value and personal and occupational domain. The five categories were: guarantee of privacy and convenience, self-growth and fulfillment of needs, recognition of professionalism and independence, support of work considering the specificity of counseling, and provision of practical compensation and facilities. Based on these results, the meaning of this study is discussed, and suggestions for further study are presented.
