미인가 기독교 대안학교를 위한 기독(목회) 상담적 요구분석 사례연구

A Case Study on Christian(Pastoral) Counseling Requirement Analysis for Unenrolled Christian Alternative School: Focused on the Cases of Theos Middle and High School

최근 한국에는 많은 대안학교가 생겨나고 있다. 제도권 학교에서 충분히 채워주지 못하는 교육의 내용을 채워나가기 위한 학교가 대안학교이다. 대안학교가 추구하는 가장 중요한 교육의 기준은 ‘인성교육’의 관점을 가지고 있다는 점이다. 한국에서 대안학교는 국가로부터 허가를 받고 운영되는 ‘인가’와 ‘미인가’라는 측면에서 국가로부터 지원을 받는 범위가 달라진다. 특별히 미인가 대안학교라서 받을 수 없는 지원은 ‘상담’에 대한 부분이다. 대안학교의 중요한 구성 대상인 ‘학생’, ‘교직원’, ‘학부모’를 Don Browning의 ‘실천적 도덕적 5차원’의 관점에서 이해하고 접근했다. ‘데오스 중·고등학교’를 통해서 미인가 기독교 대안학교를 위한 기독(목회) 상담적 지원을 위해 고려해야 하는 부분에 대해 교목을 통한 심층 인터뷰와 함께 대안학교 학생들을 상대로는 상담을 실시하며 사례연구를 시도했다. 사례연구를 위한 심층 인터뷰를 통해서 ‘전문성에 대한 필요 요구’, ‘학부모 관심 제고’, ‘공감과 정서교류를 통한 인성교육 실현’이 미인가 대안학교인 ‘데오스 중·고등학교’에 필요한 목회적 돌봄의 관점에서 기독(목회) 상담적 접근들이라는 연구결과를 확인할 수 있었다.

Recently, many alternative schools have opened in Korea. An alternative schools is one whose educational content cannot be fully covered by the public schooling system. The most important educational initiative pursued by alternative schools is “personality education.” Unenrolled alternative schools in Korea differ to the extent at which they receive government support for “counseling.” I understood this and approached the students, teachers, and parents, who are all important constituents of alternative schools, from Don Browning’s viewpoint focused on the five levels of practical moral thinking. I conducted in–depth interviews with the pastor and provide counseling to the students of Theos School for case study. What I found through the interview indicate that there are three Christian(Pastoral) counseling approaches, which are: ‘Needs for professionalism,’ ‘Raising concerns of parents,’ and ‘Realization of personality education through empathy and emotional exchange.’
