도박중독 회복 과정의 영성체험 연구

A Study on the Spirituality Experience in the Recovery Process of Gambling Addiction

연구는 도박중독 회복 과정에서 영성체험의 의미를 탐색하고 체험의 본질을 이해하여 도박중독의 치유적 접근에 경험을 기반으로 하는 영적 개입의 통로를 마련하고자 한다. 이에 단도박 3년 이상 회복 과정을 경험하고 있는 자 10명을 면접하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 연구 참여자들의 체험의 본질을 파악하여 의미를 이해하고자 목회신학방법론을 재구성하여 분석하였다. Anderson과 Foley의 ‘이야기와 의례의 관점’과 Gerkin의 ‘이야기 해석학적 관점’을 재구성한 3단계 신학적 성찰의 구조로 체험의 의미를 고찰하였다. 목회신학적 성찰의 결과는 다음과 같다. 영성체험을 경험하기 전과 체험 과정 그리고 결과 등 영적 여정의 순서를 구분하며, 영적 여정을 준비하는 과정의 ‘존재를 추구하는 자’인 도박자로 규정하고, 초월적 존재와의 관계의지, 그 의지를 드러냄으로 인한 영적 수행 과정으로의 의례, 참 자기를 발견하는 과정으로의 회복, 결과로서 영적 성장과 회복유지로 나타났다. 이러한 영적 여정에 실천적 행동적인 의례는 자신의 도박으로부터의 회복 내러티브에 신의 내러티브와 연결되는 중요한 매개체가 된다. 또한 회복 과정의 영적 여정에 해석자로서의 기독상담자의 역할을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of spirituality experience in the recovery process of gambling addiction and understand the essence of the experience to provide a passage of spiritual intervention based on experience to the therapeutic approach of gambling addiction. Accordingly, interviews were performed, and data was collected on 10 subjects that stopped gambling for 3 or more experience to experience the recovery process, and the methodology of pastoral theology was restructured for analysis to identify the essence of the experience on the participants of the study and to understand its significance. The results of the pastoral theological reflection are shown as follows. In terms of main characteristics on the order of spiritual journey such as before the spirituality experience, experience process and its result. In addition, the role of Christian counselor was proposed as the interpreter of the spiritual journey in the process of recovery.
