불안정한 초기대상관계가 관계중독에 미치는 영향

The Relationship of Unstable Object Relations and Relationship Addiction: Focusing on Defense Mechanism of Projection

본 연구는 불안정한 초기대상관계와 관계중독의 관계에서 방어기제의 매개효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 자료수집은 수도권 및 경상도에 거주하는 성인 초기의 남, 여 323명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 이루어졌다. 초기대상관계 척도(Bell’s Objective Relationship Inventory), 한국판 방어유형질문지(Korea Defense Style Questionnaire), 관계중독질문지(Relationship Addiction Questionnaire)를 척도로 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0과 SPSS Macro를 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 불안정한 초기대상관계와 관계중독 간 유의미한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 이는 불안정한 초기대상관계가 관계중독을 예측하는 중요한 변인임을 의미한다. 둘째, 투사 방어기제는 초기대상관계와 관계중독 사이에서 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 불안정한 초기대상관계가 관계중독에 미치는 영향과 이 과정에서 나타나는 방어기제를 밝혔다. 이는 상담 장면에서 관계중독을 겪는 성인 초기의 내담자들의 초기대상관계 및 이에 의한 주요 방어기제를 파악함으로써 치료적 접근을 하는 것이 중요하다는 것을 시사한다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 제한점과 기독교 상담적 관점에서의 함의 및 제언을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of defense mechanism parameters in the relationship of unstable early object relations and relationship addiction. For this purpose, the data were collected by 323 young adult lived in Seoul and Gyeong–sang Province. This study used the BORI, K–DSQ, RAQ as measurement tools. The data were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 and SPSS Macro. The results of this study are as follows. First, there was a significant correlation between unstable early object relations and relationship addiction. Second, the projection defense mechanism played a role as a mediation effect between early object relations and relationship addiction. This study examined both the effect of unstable early object relations on relationship addiction and the role of defense mechanism between the unstable early object relations and addiction relationships. These results suggest that it is important to understand clients’ defense mechanism formed by their early object relations in order to effectively deal with relationship addiction. Finally, it covered the limitations of this study, and presented implications for Christian counseling and further studies.
