한국판 하나님애착 척도 타당화 연구

Validation of a Korean Version of the Attachment to God Inventory

본 연구는 Beck과 McDonald(2004)가 개발한 하나님애착 척도(Attachment to God Inventory)를 기독교인 대상으로 타당화하였다. 이를 위해 원척도를 한국어로 번안한 후 수도권 지역의 교인 및 신학생 244명의 자료에 대해 탐색적 요인 분석을 실시하여 애착불안 10문항, 애착회피 10문항으로 구성된 최종 20문항을 선정하고, 확인적 요인분석을 통하여 2요인 모형의 적합도를 확인하였다. 하위요인 중 애착불안은 하나님과 관계에서 버려짐에 대한 불안을, 애착회피는 하나님과 관계에서 친밀감 회피의 정도를 보여준다. 본 척도의 준거 타당도를 검증하기 위해 하나님애착과 관련된 척도들과의 상관분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 하나님과의 애착불안은 성인 애착불안 및 외재적 종교성향과는 정적 상관을 보이고, 영적 안녕감과는 부적 상관을 보였다. 하나님과의 애착회피는 성인 애착불안 및 애착회피, 그리고 외재적 종교성향과 정적 상관을 보이고 영적 안녕감과 내재적 종교성향과는 부적 상관을 보였다. 7점 Likert 방식인 하나님애착 척도의 내적 합치도는 불안 .89, 회피 .91로 나타났다. 끝으로 본 연구의 의미와 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

This study validated the Attachment to God Inventory(AGI) developed by Beck and McDonald(2004). The study translated the original scale into Korean, and conducted exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis on 244 Christians in Seoul, Incheon, and Kyung–gi after running through 20 questionnaires consisted of 10 questions on anxiety and 10 questions on avoidance, Out of 2 sub–factors, anxious attachment represents the degree of anxiety of being abandoned from God and avoidant attachment represents the degree of avoidance within relationship with God. For the criterion–related validity, the study conducted correlational study on scales related to attachment to God. As a result, Anxious and avoidant attachments to God were positively correlated with adult attachment and extrinsic religious orientation, while they were negatively correlated with Spiritual well–being. Avoidant attachment to God was positively correlated with intrinsic religious orientation. The internal reliability, 7–score Likert method, showed anxiety .89 and avoidance .91. Finally, the paper discusses the significance and implications of the study.
