창의적 접근지역에서 긴급철수를 경험한 선교사들의 경험 연구

A Phenomenological Study of the Experiences of Missionaries Experienced Urgent Withdrawal from Creative Access Nations

본 연구는 창의적 접근지역에서 긴급철수를 경험한 선교사들의 경험을 현상학적으로 분석함으로써 경험의 실제적, 심리적 본질을 이해하고, 그 경험에 대한 의미를 부여한 연구다. 창의적 접근지역에서 긴급철수를 경험한 선교사들인 연구참여자들의 경험의 본질과 의미는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구참여자들은 선교지를 떠나야 하는 현실에 대해 충격과 거절감, 하나님에 대한 원망을 공통적으로 경험하였으며, 사역의 열매에 대한 아쉬움과 미련을 경험하였다. 둘째, 긴급철수 후 연구참여자들이 직면한 가장 큰 현실적 문제는 주거와 한국 사회에 재적응이었다. 셋째, 연구참여자들은 긴급철수 당시와 한국 생활에 재적응하는 과정에서 처음에는 박탈감과 멍함을 경험하였지만, 시간이 갈수록 공동체의 도움과 하나님의 위로를 통해 감사하게 되었다. 넷째, 연구참여자들은 긴급철수에 대한 해석과 의미를 선교사로서의 정체성의 확장과 하나님의 주권을 인정하는 데서 찾았다. 본 연구의 의의는 긴급철수를 경험한 선교사들이 공통적으로 경험하는 심리현상에 대한 경험적 근거를 제시했다는 점과 선교단체들이 긴급철수를 경험한 선교사들의 심리를 이해하고 공감하며 도울 수 있는 정보 제공 그리고 상담적 측면에서는 고려해야 할 구체적 실례를 제시함에 있다.

This research is to understand the psychological phenomenon of missionaries who experienced urgent withdrawal from the creative access nations in–depth. The phenomenological study method of Colaizzi is used for analysis. The results of the research are followed. Firstly, the participants of this research experienced the shock and feeling rejection for forced leaving from the mission field and that made them to resent God. Secondly, the most realistic matter the participant faced after coming back to Korea is the housing and re–adjustment. In third, though the participants experienced the feeling deprivation and numbness short after the withdrawal, as time goes by they became thankful for the help and comfort of the community and God. Lastly, the participants interpret and impart a meaning to the urgent withdrawal experience that was an opportunity of expansion of identification as a missionary and admitting the sovereignty of God.
