The main purpose of this study is to develop a group program based on Solution–Oriented Lifeway Therapy for relational maturity of Christian university students. This program is composed of relation with one’s self, others, and God. Qualified counseling psychologists of related fields validated the contents of this group program. It was conducted in 6 sessions of 90 minutes per session of six college students during the period of March 17, 2009–May 7,2009. The participants were satisfied with the program by M= 4.0, SD= .71,5 point Likert Scales. The program followed the process of HOPES, which each letter signifies a stage of the Solution–Oriented Lifeway Therapy. The first three sessions are applied to H stage, which is ‘Heartful Lifeway Encounter.’ These sessions are geared to let the participants develop mutual trusts and rapport while expecting spiritual intervention. The fourth session is composed of the stages O and P, which are ‘Organizing Lifeway Goal’ and ‘Piecing Lifeway Vision Together.’ The fifth session with E stage is about ‘Exploring Lifeway Resources.’ The sixth and the seventh ones are for S stage of practicing relational maturity, which is ‘Setting–up Lifeway Strategies.’ The final session is for gaining cooperation and efforts in the community based on continuous changes in self and other. As a result of this study, the group program has proved its effectiveness on developing relational maturity among Christian university students. Continued study on this subject will be necessary.
