A study on the relationship between parent-child communication and the image of God which perceived by Christian youth according to the faith-related variations.

The study was conducted to examine the relationship between parentchild communication and the image of God that Christian youth perceive according to the faith-related variations. This study was conducted to 292middle and high school students attending churches in P city. As a result of research, Firstly, there is difference in the Parent-child communication that Christian youth perceived depends on the variation of these factors which are existence and nonexistence of repentance, certitude of salvation, the level of Christian faith, Parental faith, church attendance. Secondly, there is also difference in the Image of God that Christian adolescents have according to these faith related variation. Thridly, there is a significant correlation between the parent-child communication that Christian youth perceived and the Image of God. In other words, opened parent-child communication had positive relationship however closed parent-child communication had negative relationship. The result of study has a purpose to provide fundamental data for Christian Parent education program that would ultimately help Christian adolescents.
