A Comparative Study on the Personality Traits between Participation Group and Non-participation Group of Christian Volunteerism

This study was made with the object of inquiring into the MBTI personality types between participation group and non-participation group of Christian volunteerism, and comparing traits of groups through the MBTI personality types. Analysis of this study showed that for the MBTI personality types, there are the most sensible thinking type and sensible feeling type in extrovert types and functional personality types, and there are the most extrovert type in types of groups. And for the occupational classification, professional occupations or stable occupations such as public servant and office worker had many conservative introvert personalities, and businessmen and students had many extrovert personalities. Consequently,given volunteering activities between church groups, considering volunteering activities within church make their demands of more active propensity, they have a tendency to expect more extrovert and active personality than introvert personality, which it is apparent that the personalities of sensible, thoughtful, considerate and emotional propensity are being more actively participated in volunteering activities.
