A Study of Comparison of Cellular Phone Addiction Level, Social Support and Mental Health Between Christian Teenagers and Non-Christian General Teenagers

The purpose of this study was to observe the level of Cellular phone addiction, as well as social support and mental health, of Christian teenagers, compared to non-Christian teenagers. 267 junior-high and high school students living in a city in Korea were sampled and questioned for this study. The results showed three main findings. First, Christian teenagers demonstrated less cases of Cellular-phone addiction than non-Christian teenagers. Second, Christian teenagers recognized a higher level of support by their parents than non-Christian teenagers. Third, there was not a statistically meaningful difference of mental health between Christian and non-Christian teenagers.
