Christian Counseling in Psycho-Social Perspective for Sexual Abuse

As time goes on, we have experienced lots of sexual violence occurring not only all around the world but also domestic area. The more we have socalled civilized milieu, the more we experience sexual abuse. Interestingly enough, 80%-90% of sexual abuse have occurred by those who have personally acquaintance with victims. As it were, sexual violence is within families and neighbors who are trusted in communities. Thus, I have researched the mind of sexual abusers theoretically and practically in the perspectives of the abuser’s inadequate accountability, inner evil which is shown as the problem of intimacy among people, and social evil which shapes and influences the abuser’s mind world and behavioral patterns. Also, including the three elements, I have shown theological insights dissecting regarding hierarchical social system and dichotomy existing in social system.
