This article criticizes current counseling education method in the area of Christian counseling and psychotherapy. Its focus have been on the theoretical learning, but it should be changed into the reflective model in which supervisee reflects what she/he has done in the counseling process. As a way of reflective format, the article suggests a group supervision. Group supervision will enhance the supervisee’s ability in counseling skills and give insights by exploring parallel process among the relationship with group members and supervisor which are reenacted in the relationship with client. Describes the strength and weak points of group supervision, and explicates necessary supervision step at each stages (preparing, forming, norming, storming, working, terminating)of group supervision based on the author’s group supervision experience. Furthermore, suggests different ways of dealing with case presentation methods (verbatim, audio and video tapes). Finally, illuminates the supervisory foci in the process of group supervision.
