고백적 글쓰기의 의미와 교육적 활용 방안

The Meaning and Its Educational Use of Confessional Writing: Confessions in the Letters of 40 People

본 연구는 고백적 글쓰기에 담긴 의미 분석을 통해 그 교육적 활용 방안을 탐색하는 것이 주된 목적이다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 자기 고백이 담긴 편지 쓰기 공모 사업에 선정된 편지 40편, 인터넷 면담, 그리고 연구자의 성찰 일지와 같은 질적 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 드러난 고백적 글쓰기의 의미는 ‘나’를 과감히 드러내는 용기의 발현, 숨겨두었던 깊은 상처의 노출 및 치유, 소중함에 대한 인식 및 자기 정체성 확립, 삶에 대한 성찰로 성장의 길 걷기로 드러났다. 고백적 글쓰기의 교육적 활용 방안으로 학생의 내면을 표현하는 용기 부여, 학생 마음의 상처 치유와 마음을 정화하는 데 활용, 학생의 자기 인식 및 세상 다양성 인식의 수단, 성찰 유발을 통한 성장 촉진을 제시하였다.

The main purpose of this study is to explore the educational application method through the analysis of the meaning contained in confessional writing. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, qualitative data such as 40 letters selected for a letter writing contest containing self-confession, Internet interviews, and the researcher s reflection journal were collected and analyzed. The collected data were analyzed using the qualitative content analysis method. The meaning of confessional writing revealed through this study was revealed as the expression of self-overcoming will, exposure and healing of hidden deep wounds, re-awareness of precious existence and establishment of self-identity, and walking the path of growth through reflection on life. As an educational application method of confessional writing, it was suggested to give courage to express the inner side of students, to use it to heal wounds and purify the mind of students, as a means for students self-awareness and recognition of the diversity of the world, and to promote growth by inducing reflection.
