직업동화를 활용한 진로교육프로그램이 발달장애 고등학생의 진로성숙도와 수업참여도에 미치는 효과

Effects of a Career Education Program using Job Fairy Tale on Career Maturity and Class Participation of High School Students with Developmental Disabilities

본 연구의 목적은 직업동화를 활용한 진로교육프로그램이 발달장애 고등학생의 진로성숙도와 수업참여도에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 위해 전라북도 A시에 있는 특수학교에 재학중인 고등학교 1학년 학생 10명으로 단일집단 사전-사후 설계를 활용해 연구하였다. 사전검사를 실시한 후 22회기로 구성된 직업동화를 활용한 진로교육프로그램을 실시하였다. 진로성숙도와 수업참여도는 제1 저자와 학급 담임 교사 2명이 평가하였으며, 두 종속표본 t 검증을 적용하여 사전-사후검사의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 직업동화를 활용한 진로교육프로그램을 실시한 이후 발달장애 고등학생의 진로성숙도가 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었다. 둘째, 직업동화를 활용한 진로교육프로그램을 실시한 이후 발달장애 고등학생의 수업참여도가 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었다. 결론적으로, 직업동화를 활용한 진로교육프로그램이 발달장애 고등학생의 진로성숙도와 수업참여도를 향상시키므로 발달장애 학생을 위한 다양한 진로교육프로그램이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a career education program using job fairy tales on career maturity and class participation of high school students with developmental disabilities. For the purpose of this study, one-group pretest-posttest design was used. The subjects were 10 high school students with developmental disabilities in a special school in A city, Jeollabuk-do. The career education program using job fairy tales consisting of 22 sessions was implemented. Career maturity and class participation were evaluated by the first author and two classroom teachers. The dependent samples t-test were implemented for analyzing the data. The results of this study were as follows. First, the career maturity of high school students with developmental disabilities was improved statistically significantly after the career education program using job fairy tales was implemented. Second, the class participation of high school students with developmental disabilities was improved statistically significantly after the career education program using job fairy tales was implemented. In conclusion, a career education program using job fairy tales improves the career maturity and class participation of high school students with developmental disabilities. Therefore, effective and systematic career education programs should be developed, implemented, and evaluated for students with developmental disabilities.
