교육 공간으로서의 한옥의 교육인간학적 의의

The Educational Anthropological Significances of the Hanok as Educational Space

연구목적: 이 논문은 교육 공간으로서의 한옥의 교육인간학적 의의를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법: 이러한 연구의 목적에 따라 먼저 실존적 공간으로서의 집의 의미를 탐색하기 위해 실존적 공간의 의미와 인간 삶의 중심으로서의 집을 고찰하였다. 이러한 실존적 공간과 집에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 한국인의 거주공간으로서의 한옥에 대해 한옥의 공간구조와 특징, 한옥의 공간구조에 반영된 한국인의 삶을 연구하였으며, 마지막으로 한옥의 교육인간학적 의의를 도출하였다. 연구결과: 집은 인간의 가장 근원적인 삶의 공간이며 시대와 인간상을 포괄적으로 드러내는 주거형태이다. 특정 시대와 지역에 속한 인간의 정치, 사회, 문화, 경제, 예술, 공학, 자연, 종교 등의 보편적 현상이 집이라는 공간에 집약되어있다. 즉 집을 이해한다는 것은 그 집에 사는 인간을 전체적으로 이해할 수 있는 효과적인 조망 방식이 될 수 있다. 또한 집은 그 속에서 살아가는 인간에게 직접적으로 교육 공간의 기능을 가지게 된다. 논의 및 결론: 한옥과 그 안에 살았던 전통적 한국인들의 삶에 대한 연구는 한옥을 건축학적으로 되살리려는 것이 아니라 한국인들의 시대를 관통하는 본질에 대한 복원이다. 그런 후에 우리의 미래 주거가 갖춰야 할 모습과 거기에 우리가 쏟을 개인적, 사회적 노력의 방향성을 결정할 수 있어야 한다.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to reveal the educational anthropological significance of hanok as an educational space. Method: According to the purpose of this study, in order to first explore the meaning of the house as an existential space, the meaning of the existential space and the house as the center of human life were considered. Based on this understanding of existential space and house, we studied the Korean life reflected in the spatial structure and characteristics of hanok and the spatial structure of hanok, and finally, the educational anthropological significance of hanok was derived. Results: Home is the most fundamental space of life for humans and is a form of housing that comprehensively reveals the times and human images. Universal phenomena such as politics, society, culture, economy, art, engineering, nature, and religion of humans belonging to a specific era and region are concentrated in the space of home. In other words, understanding a house can be an effective way of viewing that can understand the humans living in the house as a whole. In addition, the house directly functions as an educational space for humans living in it. Conclusion: The study of hanok and the lives of traditional Koreans who lived in it is not an attempt to revive hanok architecturally, but a restoration of the essence that penetrates the era. After that, we must be able to determine what our future housing should have and the direction of our personal and social efforts to put into it.
