영유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 원가족 분화가 자녀양육행동에 미치는 영향: 자기체계손상의 매개효과

The Mediation Effect of Traumatized Self-system between Family of Origin Differentiation and Parenting Behavior

본 연구는 부/모와의 원가족 분화가 자녀양육행동에 미치는 영향에서 자기체계손상의 매개효과를 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위해 2020년 2월부터 3월까지 서울 및 경기도를 중심으로 만 1∼5세 자녀를 둔 기혼 여성을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 수집된 자료 중 총 288부를 분석하였다. 자기체계손상의 매개효과 검증을 위해 Baron과 Kenny의 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아버지와의 원가족 분화가 자녀 양육 행동 중 과보호와 독립성지향에 미치는 영향에서 자기체계손상은 부분 매개효과가 있었고, 애정, 거부/통제, 일관성에 미치는 영향에서는 완전 매개효과가 있었다. 둘째, 어머니와의 원가족 분화가 자녀 양육 행동 중 애정과 독립성 지향에 미치는 영향에서 자기체계손상은 부분매개효과가 있었고 거부/통제, 과보호, 일관성에 미치는 영향에서는 완전매개효과가 있었다. 셋째, 부/모와의 분화가 자녀 양육행동의 각 유형에 미치는 영향에서 자기체계손상의 간접효과는 모두 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 부/모와 분화를 이루지 못한 기혼 여성들의 긍정적인 자녀양육행동을 증진하기 위하여 자기체계손상에 개입하여야 하는 근거를 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Objectives: This study was carried out in order to examine the relationship between family of origin differentiation and parenting behavior and to inquire into the mediation effect of traumatized self-system. Methods: To this end, a questionnaire survey was conducted targeting married women with children aged 1-5 years, centering on Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, from February to March of 2020. In total, 288 survey responses were analyzed. SPSS 25.0 and SPSS Process Macro 3.4. were used for the verification of a mediating effect. Results: As a result, the traumatized self-system showed complete mediation in the relationship between family-of-origin differentiation from the father and parenting behavior in married women, as well as partial mediation in the relationship between family of origin differentiation from the mother and parenting behavior. Conclusions: This study has significance with regard to having arranged a specific basis of family counseling in order to promote positive parenting behavior among parents who have failed to experience the appropriate differentiation from the family of origin. Based on these findings, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
