지역아동센터 종사자의 다문화가정 서비스 제공 경험에 관한 질적 연구

A case study on the multicultural experiences of workers in local community children’s centers

본 연구는 지역아동센터 종사자의 다문화가정 서비스 제공 경험을 탐색하고자 질적연구방법론에 근거하여 분석하였다. 지역아동센터 종사자 5명을 대상으로 개별심층면접을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같은 범주로 도출되었다. ‘보통의 한국 아이로 키워야 하는 긴 여정’, ‘다문화가정 부모는 선택이 아닌 필수 대상자’, ‘아동 최선의 이익을 위한 지역사회 네트워크 강화’, ‘다문화가정 아동돌봄 최전방에서의 기대와 노하우’. 이 같은 결과를 토대로 지역아동센터 종사자들의 다문화가정 대상 서비스 역량을 향상시키기 위한 교육과 지원을 제안하였다.

In this study, we analyzed based on the methodology of qualitative research in order to explore the experience of multicultural family child care of community children s center workers. The results of individual interviews conducted with five local children s center workers are as follows. Research participants faced difficulties through the service delivery stage and the experience of community networking, but they also found it rewarding. They also reflected on their position as a caregiver and discussed the necessary resources. Based on these results, we provided education and support to improve the multicultural family child care ability of local community children s center workers.
