Conceptualization of Cultural Welfare in Social Work Practice: A Hermeneutics Approach based on the Examples of Culture

이 연구는 우리 국민이 문화라는 용어를 어떤 의미로 사용․이해하고 있는가를 파악하고, 이를 근간으로 사회복지실천 측면에서 문화복지의 개념을 정리하는 데 목적이 있다. 일상에서 문화의 용례를 찾아 수집하여 자료화하였다. 자료 분석은 해석학적 관점을 바탕으로 진행하였다. 연구 결과 문화 용례의 특성으로 ‘사용 수준이 다름’, ‘시류를 따름’, ‘같은 사용자의 용례가 다름’이 드러났다. 아울러 문화의미의 속성으로 ‘정신체’, ‘지향체’, ‘활동체’, ‘도구체’를 발견하였다. 이와 같은 용례를 바탕으로 문화복지의 개념을 ‘사회복지실천 지식과 기술을 바탕으로 의미 있는 일상거리를 통해 우리의 전통에 스며있는 정신을 지향하고 가꾸면서 개인의 보람된 삶을 꾸려가게 하는 프로그램’으로 정의하였다.

This study has been proposed to examine the national understanding on the examples of culture, and to conceptualize cultural welfare. The data has been collected through the examples of culture which have been used in daily life, and analyzed by hermeneutics approach. The results of the examples of culture have been specialized as levels of using are different , following the current of the times , and the same users examples are different . Also, the meanings of culture are specialized as spiritual shape , intentional shape , actional shape , and instrumental shape . According to the above features of the examples of culture, cultural welfare is conceptualized as professional social welfare programmes which intend the sprit saturated in traditions, and manage the worthwhile daily life at the same time.
