농촌지역 저소득 한부모가족 청소년의 학교생활 적응에 관한 질적 연구

The Qualitative Study on Adaptation to the School Life of Adolescents in Low-Income Single Parent Families in Rural Area

본 연구에서는 농촌지역 저소득 한부모가족 청소년들의 학교생활 적응에 대해 이해하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 농촌 지역 면단위 소재 A중학교 저소득 한부모가족 청소년 8명을 대상으로 심층면접 및 참여관찰을 실시하였다. 가정방문, 학부모․또래․교사 면담, 교사설문 등도 병행하였다. 심층면접 자료는 참여자들의 가족생활에 대해 이해하고, 그를 통해 학교생활 적응을 이해하는데 중요한 자료가 되었다. 모든 자료들을 종합한 결과, 참여자들의 학교생활 적응전략 및 양상이 도출되었다. 결론에서 그들을 위한 심리ㆍ정서적, 경제적, 문화적, 교육적 측면에서 교육복지서비스 지원 방향을 제안하였다.

This study aims to understand the life experience of the adolescents in low-income single parent families in rural area, to examine carefully how they adapt to their school life and to find out the integrated education and welfare services for them. The participants of this study were 8 middle school students living in the township. The main research method was ethnography (participant observation, in-depth interview), one of the qualitative research methods. In addition, visiting homes and conducting interviews of parents, teachers and friends of adolescents in single parent families were used. To complement the results of participant observation and in-depth interview, a questionnaires for the teachers were carried out. In conclusion, their own strategies for their school life adaptation were deducted.
