결혼이주여성의 자살정황(情況)에 관한 탐색

An Exploration on the Circumstances of Suicide of Immigrant Women married Korean male in South Korea

본 연구는 한국남성과 결혼한 이주여성의 자살정황을 탐색하여 자살로 생을 마감한 결혼이주여성의 생의 내용을 재구성하여 자살의 의미를 드러내고자 하였다. 연구자는 2013년 2월부터 2014년 6월까지 자살사례를 제공해 준 주변 사람들과의 인터뷰를 활용하였고 해석의 기능을 강조한 해석학적 근거이론 연구방법으로 분석하였다. 분석결과에 따른 죽음에 대한 실존적 주제는 (1) 주변인으로 살며 지속적인 내몰림을 경험함, (2) 사회적 폭력에 무방비로 노출됨, (3) 환상이 사라진 후 드러난 비참한 현실, (4) 벼랑끝에 매달려 있으나 빛을 보지 못함, (5) 존재의 무화(無化), (6) 소통의 경색으로 인한 사회적 죽음, (7) 극단적인 자기 드러냄이었다. 본 연구는 국가적 차원에서 포괄적인 대책과 결혼이주여성 자살예방을 위한 방안을 모색하기 위한 기초자료로 제공될 수 있다.

This study is to explore the circumstances of suicide of Immigrant Women married Korean male and to reveal the meaning of their suicide by reconsructing their life. The research was carried out through interviews with neighbors who provided suicide cases for the research from February 2013 to August 2014. It was applied by Rennie’s Hermeneutic grounded theory Method. As the results of this study, the seven existential themes of seven were revealed. Those are (1) experiencing driven away from korean society continuously, (2) being exposed by social violence without protection as boundary people (3) experiencing the miserable reality revealed after an illusion was disappeared (4) being hung at the end of the cliff and not finding any light (5) realizing nullification of being (6) experiencing a social death due to the blockage of the communication, (7) disclosing an extreme self-demonstration. This research can provide a basic data for the comprehensive plan at the level of the nation to prevent Immigrant Women married Korean male from suiciding in advance.
