고령화된 장애인의 사회복지프로그램 참여 경험에 관한 연구

A Study on participation experience in social welfare program for elderly with disabilities: based on community rehabilitation center

본 연구는 고령화된 장애인을 위한 효과적이고 다양한 사회복지 프로그램을 구축하고 제안하기 위한 목적으로 장애인종합복지관에서 시행한 고령화된 장애인 대상 사회복지 프로그램에 참여하고 있는 12명을 대상으로 하여 그들의 참여경험과 프로그램 참여 선택과 결정에 어떤 특성들이 반영되는지를 객관적 해석학으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 프로그램 참여가 권리가 아닌 시혜라고 인식하고 있었으며 둘째, 프로그램 참여가 경쟁과정의 행운이며, 셋째, 참여가 개인적 공간에서 사회적 공간으로의 탈출의 통로였으며, 넷째, 프로그램 참여를 통하여 (재)통합된 삶의 영위가 이루어지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 첫째, 장애와 노화 상태의 통합적 프로그램 제공의 필요성, 둘째, 고령화된 장애인을 위한 특화된 제공 프로그램의 확충, 셋째, 프로그램 이용에 있어서 제한 요인들 즉, 자부담, 신체기능의 정도(능력), 접근성 등이 해결되어야 함을 제언하였다.

This study is to improve the service and develope programs of elderly with disabilities in community welfare centers. For this, 9 elderly persons with disability who participate in programs in community welfare centers for disable people was interviewed and their participation experience, factor of participation determination and their traits analyzed by objective hermeneutics method. The result is as follows: elderly persons with disability who participate in programs in community welfare centers for disable people recognized by not their right but beneficial program for them and by oneself lucky condition, participation in programs gives opportunity to them, escaping from repetitive daily life, and contributing their life integration. Based on this result, elderly persons with disability need united programs based on disability and aging condition, can be supported widely. And limiting factors such as alloted charge, physical ability, and right to access can be considered and solved to revitalizing participation in program of elderly with disabilities in community welfare centers.
