기독교유아세계시민교육이 유아인성에 미치는 효과

A Study on the Impact that the Early Childhood Education for Global Citizenship Restructured with a Christian Worldview has on Young Children’s Characteristics

본 연구는 기독교유아세계시시민교육이 유아인성에 미치는 효과가 있는지 알아보고 기독교유아세계시민교육의 유아인성교육에 활용가능성을 증명하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 5주간 실험처치하고 사전-사후검사를 SPSS WIN 24.0로 대응표본 t검증과 일원분산분석(ANOVA)으로 분석하고 유의미한 차이가 있어 Schefffe test를 실시하였다. 연구대상은 기독교유아세계시민교육을 실시한 실험집단 20명, 일반 유아세계시민교육을 실시한 통제집단A 20명, 기존 누리과정을 그대로 실시하고 있는 통제집단B 20명이다. 검사 결과 기독교유아세계시민교육이 유아 ‘인성전체’와 유아인성 핵심덕목인 ‘나눔, 배려, 존중, 질서, 협력’에 모두 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이에 기독교유아세계시민교육은 유아의 인성교육의 새로운 방법이 될 수 있을 것이며 사회적 병리현상과 교육의 해체 앞에서 기독교세계관과 영적인 부분을 포함한 기독교교육을 실시해야 함을 시사한다고 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of Christian Early Childhood Education for Global Citizenship has on childhood character and to prove the possibility of its use in childhood character education. In order to verify its effects, three groups were evaluated with both pre- and post-tests that were then analyzed further with t-tests and ANOVA of the SPSS WIN 24.0 program, which derived a significant difference and led to the use of the Scheffé test in the program. The first group was an experimental group that consisted of 20 individuals taking Christian education, whereas the second and third groups were both control groups. Control group A consisted of 20 individuals taking general education, and control group B consisted of 20 individuals taking the existing Nuri course. The test results found that Christian Early Childhood Education for Global Citizenship had a positive effect on both “personality as a whole” and “sharing, consideration, respect, order, and cooperation”, which are the core virtues of childhood character. Accordingly, a Christian approach may be a new valid method to childhood character education, suggesting that a Christian worldview and spirituality should be taught at education sites to deal with both social pathology and the dissolution of education.
