비교과 교육과정의 재학생 수요 및 인식 연구

Perception and Demand Survey of the Extracurriculum at High Education: Case of K-university Students

본 연구는 비교과 교육의 실질적인 수요자인 학생들의 의견을 반영하여 비교과 교육과정을 구성하고 운영하는 방안을 조사하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 K대학교에서 2020학년도에 재학생을 대상으로 실시한 비교과 교육과정 관련 수요 및 인식조사를 분석하였다. 이에 대한 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 프로그램 관련 내용에서는 비교과 교육과정에 관한 수요조사에서, 역량개발을 위한 프로그램 중 학습역량 개발을 위한 프로그램 중에서는 코딩, 딥러닝, 머신러닝 등 프로그램이 가장 높게, 취․창업역량 개발 관련 프로그램 중에는 취업연계 및 실무경험 프로그램이 가장 높게, 진로․심리지원 관련 프로그램으로는 진로상담 프로그램이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 기타 개설요구 프로그램으로는 국내외 봉사활동 프로그램이 전반적으로 가장 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 둘째, 대학 간 상이한 선호와 수요를 보였던 2018년과 2019년과 달리 2020년에는 진로 관련 영역을 중심으로 한 비교과 영역에 집중적 요구를 보였다. 마지막으로 교육부의 운영방향과 K대학교의 수요조사의 결과를 종합한 결과, ICT 산업과 관련한 비교과 프로그램은 학생들의 수요에 비해 상당히 부족하게 개설․운영되고 있는 것으로 나타났으므로, 이를 적극적으로 해소할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate ways to organize and operate extracurriculum by reflecting the opinions of students, who are actual consumers of education. To do these, a survey is conducted for enrolled students in 2020 by K University and analyzed the demand and perception of the extracurriculum. The main results for this study are summarized as follows. First, in the survey on the extracurriculum, coding, deep learning, and machine learning program is the highest among the domain of competency development. The employment-related and practical experience program is the highest among the domain of employment and start-up competency. The career counseling program is the highest among the domain of career and psychological support. The domestic and overseas volunteer program is the highest among other programs. Second, Unlike in 2018 and 2019, in 2020 there are intensive demands centering on career-related areas. Third, as a result of synthesizing the operation direction of the Ministry of Education and the results of the demand survey of K University, the extracurriculum programs related to the ICT industry are insufficient compared to the demand of students. Therefore, it is necessary to actively resolve this.
