부모의 스마트기기 의존도, 놀이신념, 놀이참여도가 영･유아 스마트기기 의존도에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Parent s Smart Device Dependency, Beliefs about Play, and Degree of Participation in Play on Smart Device Dependency of Young Children

본 연구는 부모의 스마트기기 의존도, 놀이신념, 놀이참여도가 영･유아 스마트기기 의존도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울･경기도에 거주하는 스마트기기를 사용하는 만 1세～만 5세 영･유아의 부모 340명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아버지와 어머니에 따라 부모의 스마트기기 의존도, 놀이신념, 놀이참여도, 영･유아 스마트기기 의존도의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 스마트기기 의존도, 놀이신념, 놀이참여도, 영･유아 스마트기기 의존도 간의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 영･유아 스마트기기 의존도 전체에 상대적인 영향을 미치는 변인으로 부모의 스마트기기 의존도 중 내성, 가상세계지향성, 놀이중심 신념과 학습중심 신념, 놀이참여도 중 교수놀이, 게임으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 부모의 놀이에 대한 신념 및 놀이참여자로서 역할의 중요성에 대해 논의하였다.

This study aims to investigate the effects of parents smart device dependency, play beliefs, and participation in play on smart device dependency of young children. In this study, 340 parents of young children aged one to five using smart device and living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were studied. The main results of this study are as follows. First, significant differences were found in parents smart device dependency, play beliefs, participation in play, and smart device dependency of young children according to fathers and mothers. Second, there was a correlation among parents smart device dependency, play beliefs, participation in play, and smart device dependency of young children. Third, the variables that were found to have a relative influence on the overall smart device dependency of young children were tolerance, virtual world orientation, play and learning-oriented beliefs, teaching-play among play participation, and games. Through the results of this study, the importance of parents belief in play and of their role as play participants was discussed
