예비유아교사의 셀프리더십이 보육헌신에 미치는 영향

A study on the relationship between self-leadership and child care commitment of pre-service early childhood teachers: An analysis of the mediating effect of teaching ethics

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 셀프리더십과 보육헌신과의 관계에서 교직윤리의식의 매개효과를 살펴보는데 목적을 두었다. 연구대상으로는 예비유아교사 404명이 참여했으며, 자료 분석을 위해 적률상관관계, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였고, 매개효과의 유의성을 검증하기 위하여 Sobel Test를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 예비유아교사의 셀프리더십, 교직윤리의식, 보육헌신의 인식 수준은 비교적 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 셀프리더십, 교직윤리의식, 보육헌신 간의 상관관계에서 셀프리더십이 높으면 교직윤리의식과 보육헌신이 높아지고, 교직윤리의식이 높으면 보육헌신이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 예비유아교사의 셀프리더십과 교직윤리가 보육헌신에 미치는 영향에서 교직윤리의식은 셀프리더십과 보육헌신을 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 예비유아교사과정에서 보육헌신 증진에 도움을 줄 수 있는 프로그램 개발 및 교육과정 운영을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 방안을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among self-leadership, child care commitment, and teaching ethics of pre-service early childhood teachers. In particular, this study aimed to investigate the mediating effect of teaching ethics for the relationship between self-leadership and the child care commitment of pre-service early childhood teachers. The participants of this study were 404 pre-service teachers in B city in the department of early childhood education. Questionnaires were used to collect data. Results of this study were as follows: First, it was found that the levels of self-leadership, child care commitment, and teaching ethics of pre-service early childhood teachers were relatively high. Second, it was found that the levels of child care commitment amd teaching ethics of pre-service early childhood teachers were high when self-leadership was high, and the level of child care commitment was high when teaching ethics were high. Third, teaching ethics of pre-service early childhood teachers was shown to have a mediation effect on self-leadership and child care commitment. Results of this study provide insight into the right direction of educating pre-service early childhood teachers child care commitments.
