한국화감상을 활용한 동시짓기활동이 유아의 언어표현력과 읽기흥미에 미치는 영향

Effects of poetry₋creating activities using Korean paintings appreciation on children’s language expression ability and interest in reading

본 연구는 한국화감상을 활용한 동시짓기활동이 유아의 언어표현력과 읽기흥미에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 만 5세 유아 34명(실험집단 17명, 비교집단 17명)이며, 실험집단 유아(남 8명, 여 9명)를 대상으로, 한국화감상을 활용한 동시짓기활동을 7주간 총16회 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 통계프로그램을 이용하여 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 한국화를 활용한 동시짓기활동을 경험한 실험집단 유아들의 언어표현력 및 읽기흥미가 통계적으로 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구 결과는 한국화감상을 활용한 동시짓기활동이 유아교육현장에서 다양한 언어활동의 한 방법으로 의미있게 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of poetry₋creating activities using Korean paintings appreciation on children’s language expression abilities and interest in reading. The subjects were 34 five-year-old children, and we performed 16 poetry₋creating activities using Korean paintings appreciation over seven weeks. The collected data were analyzed by analysis of covariance (ANCOVA), using the SPSS 18.0 program. The results were as follows; We found statistically significant improvement in language expression ability and interest in reading of the experimental group of children who experienced poetry₋creating activities using Korean paintings appreciation. Therefore, this study suggests that poetry₋creating activities using Korean paintings appreciation can be used with various language activities in the early childhood education field.
