예비유아교사의 행복감이 교직윤리에 미치는 영향

The effect of pre-service early childhood teachers’ happiness on teaching ethics: mediating effect of committed childcare

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 행복감과 보육헌신과 교직윤리의 상관관계를 분석하고 행복감이 교직윤리에 미치는 영향에 있어서 보육헌신의 매개효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 예비유아교사의 교직윤리에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 변인의 다차원적인 이해를 제공하고 예비유아교사의 교직윤리 증진을 위한 방안을 마련하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 P시에 소재한 전문대학의 유아교육과에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 395명이다. 연구결과에 따르면 첫째, 예비유아교사의 행복감과 보육헌신, 교직윤리 인식 수준은 모두 비교적 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 행복감, 보육헌신, 교직윤리간의 관계를 살펴본 결과, 서로 간에 정적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 행복감이 높은 예비유아교사는 보육헌신과 교직윤리가 높았고 보육헌신이 높은 예비유아교사는 교직윤리도 높았다. 셋째, 예비유아교사의 행복감이 교직윤리에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 행복감의 하위요인인 외적요인과 자기조절요인이 예비유아교사의 교직윤리에 대해 유의한 영향력을 보이고 있다. 본 연구결과는 교원양성과정에서 예비유아교사의 교직윤리를 증진시키기 위해 행복감 증진 프로그램 개발과 보육헌신 향상을 위한 전략을 포함한 교육내용 개발을 위한 기초자료가 될 수 있다.

This study explores the correlation between pre-service early childhood teachers’ happiness and, committed, childcare and teaching ethics, analyzing the mediating effect of committed childcare when happiness affects teaching ethics. The purpose of this study was to provide a multidimensional understanding of variables that positively affect the teaching ethics of pre-service early childhood teachers, and give them measures to promote teaching ethics. The research subjects were 395 pre-service early childhood teachers, who were majoring in early childhood education in a 2-3-year-long college program in P city. The results showed that, first, the awareness of happiness, committed childcare, and teaching ethics among pre-service early childhood teachers all came out to be relatively high. Second, it was found that happiness, committed childcare, and teaching ethics were in a positive relationship with one another. That is, pre-service early childhood teachers with a higr level of happiness had a higher degree of committed childcare and teaching ethics. Pre-service teachers with high levels of committed childcare had a high degree of teaching ethics. Third, an analysis of the influence of pre-service early childhood teachers’ happiness on their teaching ethics showed that two of the sub-factors of happiness, external factors and self-regulation, have a significant influence on teaching ethics. The results of this study, are expected to provide data for program development that promotes pre-service early childhood teachers’ happiness in order to strengthen teaching ethics. In is also expected to support the development of educational content, including strategies to improve their committed childcare.
