예비유아교사가 인식한 좋은 아동관찰에 대한 은유분석

A study on the metaphorical analysis of the good child observation by pre-service early childhood teachers

본 연구는 좋은 아동관찰에 대한 인식을 알아보기 위해 U지역 예비교사 190명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 은유분석의 경우, 수집 자료는 주제를 중심으로 교차 검토되었으며, 코딩, 분류, 범주화 단계를 거쳐 분석되었고 좋은 아동관찰의 특성은 자유응답에 대한 분석으로 빈도 처리되었다. 첫째, 아동관찰에 대한 은유 유형은 관찰의 구체성, 영유아에 대한 애정과 관심, 영유아의 발달과 성장 이해, 교사의 직무 수행, 관찰의 객관성, 관찰의 지속성, 교사의 전문성 개발 순으로 나타났으며 이는 유아 관점, 교사 관점, 관찰 자체의 속성으로 구분되었다. 둘째, 예비교사들은 관찰 절차와 관련되는 관찰의 계획성, 관찰 대상에 대한 이해, 관찰의 객관성, 관찰의 구체성, 관찰의 지속성을 좋은 아동관찰의 특성으로 인식하고 있었다. 이러한 결과는 향후 교사양성과정에서의 아동관찰 교과목의 방향과 현장에서의 좋은 아동관찰 및 기록에 대한 시사점을 제공한다 할 것이다.

This study surveys 190 pre-service early childhood teachers attending colleges in the U area to discover their perceptions on the characteristics of good child observation. In the case of a metaphorical analysis, the collection data were cross-reviewed around the subject, analyzed through the coding, classification, and categorization stages, and the characteristics of good observation were frequency-treated with an analysis of free response. First, the metaphor types for child observation were shown in the order of specificity of observation, affection and interest for children, understanding of development and growth of children, teacher performance, objectivity of observation, persistence of observation, and professional development of teachers. The data were divided into three categories: 1) child attributes, 2) teachers, and 3) observations. Second, the pre-service teachers recognized the planning of observations related to the observation procedure, understanding of the object of observation, objectivity of observation, specificity, and persistence of observation as characteristics of good observation. These results will provide implications for the direction of future child observation-related curricula in the early childhood teacher agency as well as for good observation s and records at the educational site.
