초등학교 1학년 어머니가 생각하는 유초연계의 방향

Study on direction recognized by the first-grade elementary school students’ mothers on connected education of early childhood educational institution and elementary school: As an ecological approach

본 연구는 초등학교 1학년 어머니들이 생각하는 자녀의 유초연계 방향을 생태적 관점에서 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 초등학교 1학년 어머니 5인을 대상으로 반구조화된 면담을 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 연속적 비교분석법(constant comparative method)으로 분석되었다. 연구결과, 초등학교 1학년 어머니들은 아이의 생의 흐름에 토대하여 자연스럽게 이어지는 유초연계, 아이의 개별성과 다양성을 존중하는 유초연계, 아이 삶 전반을 고려하는 유초연계로 나아갈 필요가 있다고 인식하고 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 아이의 비동일성을 고려하여 아이의 생명성을 살리는 유초연계 방향과 유아교사 및 초등교사가 유초연계를 재 이해하는 교육의 필요성을 중심으로 논하였다. 나아가 본 연구는 유초연계를 경험하는 학부모에게 실질적인 도움이 될 수 있는 유초연계 방안의 단초를 모색해보고자 하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to identify improvements needed in the social support system by considering the perceptions and needs of mothers who have experienced the connection betweenearly childhood educational institution and elementary school. In this study, in-depth interview were conducted to examine the necessity, difficulties, and support measures of linkage education, which of first-grade student. Participants were five mothers. The collected data were analyzed according to constant comparative method. As the result of the study indicated that these linkage education to water (naturally)appropriate and practically helpful for the individuality of the child’s life. Based on these results, it is necessary to educate early childhood teachers and elementary school teachers so that they linkage education and consider children’s unique identities.
