예비유아교사의 그릿과 주관적 행복감의 관계에서 여가만족의 매개효과

The mediating effect of leisure satisfaction on the relationship between Grit and subjective happiness in pre-service early childhood teachers

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 그릿이 주관적 행복감에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 여가만족이 어떠한 매개역할을 하는지 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 부산, 경남지역에 소재하고 있는 대학교에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 300명을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행한 뒤, 응답결과를 분석하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 첫째, 예비유아교사의 그릿, 주관적 행복감, 여가만족에 대한 인식 정도는 보통보다 높은 수준인 것으로 나타났으며 예비유아교사의 그릿, 주관적 행복감, 여가만족의 총합에 있어 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 그릿과 여가만족이 주관적 행복감에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 예비유아교사의 주관적 행복감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보면 그릿의 하위요인에서는 지속적 관심, 꾸준한 노력 순으로, 여가만족의 하위요인에서는 신체적 만족, 환경적 만족의 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 예비유아교사의 그릿과 주관적 행복감의 관계에서 여가만족의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과에 의하면 여가만족은 부분매개효과를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 예비유아교사의 주관적 행복감을 증진하기 위해서는 그릿과 여가만족을 증진하기 위한 노력이 필요함을 시사한다고 볼 수 있다.

This study aims to identify how leisure satisfaction plays a role in the process when Grit influencing the subjective happiness of pre-service early childhood teachers. To that end, 300 prospective early childhood teachers attending universities in Busan and South Gyeongsang Province were surveyed and the results were analyzed. The result showed that pre-service early childhood teachers awareness on Grit, subjective happiness, and leisure satisfaction was found to be higher than usual, and the total value of their Grit, subjective happiness, and leisure satisfaction showed a positive correlation. Second, Grit and leisure satisfaction of a pre-service early childhood teacher had a significant impact on their subjective happiness; and the factors affecting the subjective happiness of pre-service early childhood teachers were continuous interest and steady effort from the sub-factors of Grit. The Sub-factors of leisure satisfaction that affect pre-service early childhood teachers’ subjective happiness were physical satisfaction and environmental satisfaction. Third, after examining the effect of the medium of leisure satisfaction, it was found that the leisure satisfaction has a partially mediating effect in relation to the Grit of a pre-service early childhood teacher. This can be seen as indicative of the need for efforts to improve Grit and leisure satisfaction of pre-service early childhood teachers in order to increase their subjective happiness.
