메타포 분석을 통한 부모의 유아 놀이공간 인식 연구

A metaphor analysis on parents perception of children s play space: focusing on playground and kids cafe

본 연구의 목적은 메타포 분석을 통하여 놀이공간에 대한 부모의 인식을 탐구하는데 있다. 본 연구를 위해 연구자는 부모 109명에게 메타포 설문지를 배부하여 유아의 놀이터 및 키즈카페에 대한 메타포와 그 근거를 산출하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 구체적으로 살펴보면, 놀이터는 다양한 놀이로 몰입하는 즐거움의 공간, 사고(思考)가 자라나는 공간, 친구와 관계 맺는 공간, 휴식과 여가를 즐기는 공간, 위험한 여행이 시작되는 공간으로 총 5가지의 주제로 명명되었다. 키즈카페는 매력적인 놀이의 공간, 만들어진 놀이 세계, 부모를 위한 탈출의 공간, 놀이와 상업의 경계에 서있는 공간, 끊을 수 없는 중독의 공간으로 제시되었다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 놀이터와 키즈카페라는 놀이 공간의 특성을 은유적으로 살핌으로써 각 공간에 대한 부모의 인식을 알아보고, 우리의 삶에 긍정적으로 기능할 수 있는 다양한 놀이공간들이 보완․활성화 될 수 있기를 기대하는 바이다.

The purpose of this study was to explore parents perceptions of play space through a metaphor analysis. For this study, the researchers distributed metaphor questionnaires to 109 parents and calculated metaphor playgrounds and kids cafes. The results of this study are follow First, five kinds of playgrounds can be identified within one playground are as paces entertained by various plays, where thoughts grow, spaces with friends, and resting places, space where dangerous journey begins. It was named as a subject kids cafes were presented as attractive play space, created play world, places of escape for parents, standing at the boundary of play and commerce, and space of intolerable addiction. Therefore, through this study, it is possible to understand parents of each space by metaphorically exploring the characteristics of the play space called the playground and kids cafe various play spaces that can be complemented, and activated.
