인성 관련 동화를 활용한 정서표현활동이 유아의 친사회적 행동 및 대인문제해결사고에 미치는 영향

The effects of emotional expression activities using personality related children’s stories on young children’s prosocial behavior and interpersonal cognitive problem solving abilities

본 연구는 인성 관련 동화책을 활용한 정서표현활동이 유아의 친사회적 행동과 대인문제해결사고에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하는 목적으로, G시에 소재한 H유치원 만 5세 2학급의 유아 총 46명을 임의 배정하였고, 실험집단의 유아들에게는 인성 관련 동화를 감상한 후 정서표현활동을 실시하였고, 비교집단의 인성 관련 동화를 감상한 후 인상 깊은 장면에 대한 그리기활동을 실시하였다. 본 연구 결과 인성 관련 동화를 활용하여 정서표현활동을 실시한 실험집단이 인상 깊은 장면에 대한 그리기활동을 실시한 비교집단에 비해 친사회적 행동 및 대인문제해결사고가 통계적으로 높게 나타났다. 이는 인성 관련 동화를 활용한 정서표현활동이 유아의 친사회적 행동 및 대인문제해결사고 증진에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 유아교육 현장에서 인성 관련 동화를 활용한 정서표현활동을 의미 있는 교수-학습 방법으로 활용해 볼 가치가 있음을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of emotion expression activities using personality related children s stories on children’s prosocial behavior and interpersonal cognitive problem solving abilities. The subjects of this study were 5 year old 46 children(23 children in the experimental group, 23 children in the comparison group) in total in two classes of H kindergarten located in G city, randomly sampling them into two groups including. For children in the experimental group, this study conducted emotional expression activities after appreciating personality related children s stories, and for children in the comparison group, this study conducted drawing activities about impressive images after appreciating personality related children s stories. following are the results of this study. Comparing that of the comparison group conducting drawing activities about impressive images, the prosocial behaviors(leadership, helping, communication ability, proactive consideration, access attempt, sharing, empathy and emotional regulation) and interpersonal cognitive problem solving abilities(alternative problem solving thought, result prediction thought, causal thought, means-end thought) of the experimental group conducting emotional expression activities using personality related children s stories were found to be statistically significant. From the results of this study, it is found that emotional expression activities using personality related children s stories was effective on improvement in children’s prosocial behaviors and interpersonal cognitive problem solving abilities. Thus, it is suggested that emotional expression activities using personality related children s stories deserve to be utilized as a meaningful teaching‐learning method.
