초록유치원의 교사학습공동체 이야기

The story of teachers learning community in Chorok kindergarten: Transformation of teachers awareness and pedagogical praxis on young children s ‘Mom’

본 연구는 ‘유아의 몸’을 주제로 진행된 초록유치원 교사학습공동체 사례를 바탕으로, ‘실천을 위한 반성-실천-실천에 대한 반성’의 순환적 과정에서 나타난 유아의 몸에 대한 교사의 인식과 교육 실천의 변화를 분석하였다. B시 소재의 초록유치원 교사 세 명의 대화록, 면담전사본, 교사의 관찰일지와 성찰일지 등을 수집하여 교사의 인식과 교육실천의 변화를 귀납적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 유아의 몸에 대해 ‘결핍체에서 가능태로’, ‘타자에서 주체로서의 몸으로’ 교사들의 인식에 변화가 나타났으며, ‘통제를 위한 공간에서 자유로운 공간으로’, ‘교사의 시간에서 유아의 몸을 존중하는 시간으로’, ‘규율적 수업에서 살아있는 몸의 경험으로’ 초록유치원 교육실천에 변화가 나타남을 발견할 수 있었다.

The study followed the trace of early childhood teachers learning community (TLC) in the Chorok kindergarten and explored the transformation of teachers awareness and pedagogical praxis on their children s ‘Mom’. The ‘Mom’ is a word stressed the wholeness of body with mind. The TLC with 3 teachers has been developed by 3 recurring steps - i. e. reflection for action, action, and reflection on action. We researchers tried to analyze inductively with the qualitative data, such as recorded teachers dialogues, interview transcripts, classroom observation records, reflective journals, and some other products. The results showed that the TLC brought the transformation of the teachers awareness on their children s Mom as ‘from deficiency to potential’ and ‘from others to the subject’. The TLC also brought the transformation of the pedagogical praxis on children s Mom in the kindergarten as ‘from restricted to opened space’, ‘from canned to flexible time’, and ‘from disciplined to lived experiences’.
