사쿠란보 리듬활동에 함의된 생태유아교육학적인 의미

Meaning of eco early childhood education in sakuranbo rhythmic activities

본 연구는 일본에서 유아리듬교육으로 널리 알려져 있는 사쿠란보 리듬활동의 기본사상과 그 리듬 동작에 담긴 생태적 의미를 문헌 검토를 통해 분석해 봄으로써 그 속에 함의 된 ‘생태유아교육의 의미’를 재음미하고 고찰하는데 목적을 두었다. 사쿠란보 리듬활동을 창안한 사이토 기미코의 저술, 관련심포지엄 자료, 전문서적, 사쿠란보 리듬활동을 실행하고 있는 유아기관 방문 자료 등을 대상으로 분석 검토했다. 사쿠란보 리듬활동의 생태유아교육학적 의미는 크게 3가지로 요약된다. 첫째, 헤켈의 진화생물학적 이론에 근거하여 구성된 리듬활동은 자연 속에서 우주생멸 진화의 순환적 리듬원리에 기초해서 활동하는 것을 기본으로 한다. 둘째, 리듬활동의 기본은 신체의 모든 감각이 상호 연결되고 통합되어 있음을 신체 리듬 동작표현을 통해 자각하게 함으로써 몸, 정신, 영혼의 조화로운 발달을 중시한다. 셋째, 일본고유의 전래놀이를 리듬활동에 포함시키고 있다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze basic ideas and detailed action information of Sakuranbo rhythmic activities which is known as an infant rhythm training in Japan through literature reviews and investigates the meaning of ‘ecological early childhood education’ in it. For the purpose of the study, based on academic and professional books that deal with symposium materials and Sakuranbo rhythmic activities that shed light on Saito gimiko, who created Sakuranbo rhythmic activities and was child care practitioner, and some other infant agency visit and interviews, theoretical study was conducted. Meaning of eco centered early childhood education that is inherent in Sakuranbo rhythmic activities can be summarized into three types. Firstly, for rhythmic activities that are consisted based on evolutionary biological theory of Haeckel, working with the nature is a basis. Secondly, basis of rhythmic activities is to focus on harmony development of body, mind and soul by recognizing that all senses in the body is connected through natural physical rhythm action representation. Thirdly, Japanese traditional folk play is included in rhythmic activities. It is understood that based on the above contents, basic concept of Sakuranbo rhythmic activities shares pulse with the basic direction that eco centered early childhood education pursues.
