유아의 기질, 어머니의 양육행동, 교사-유아 관계가 유아의 문제행동에 미치는 영향

The effect of children s temperament, mother s parenting behavior, and teacher-child relationships on children s behavior problems

본 연구는 유아의 문제행동에 유아의 기질, 어머니의 양육행동, 교사-유아 관계가 미치는 영향력을 분석하고, 유아의 문제행동을 바람직한 발달로 연계하여 지원할 수 있도록 부모와 교사의 이해를 돕는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위하여 서울, 인천, 경기 지역 어린이집에 다니는 만 3‧4세 유아 217명의 어머니와 담임교사에게 설문을 실시하였고, 수집된 자료는 t-검증과 ANOVA, Pearson의 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 사회인구학적 변인에 따라 유아의 문제행동의 하위요인에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 둘째, 유아의 문제행동과 하위요인들은 유아의 기질, 어머니의 양육행동, 교사-유아 관계와 부분적으로 유의한 상관관계가 나타났다. 셋째, 문제행동의 하위요인인 적대-공격성, 걱정-불안, 과잉-산만행동에 따라 영향을 미치는 사회인구학적변인과 유아의 기질, 어머니의 양육행동 변인이 독특한 양상으로 나타났으며, 유아의 문제행동과 하위요인 전체에 교사-유아의 관계가 가장 영향력이 높은 예측변인으로 나타났다.

This study analyzed the effects of the variables that affect children s behavior problems, focusing on children s temperament, mothers parenting behaviors, and teacher-child relationships. The purpose of this study was to approach children s behavioral problems with a comprehensive view, helping mothers and teachers understand the problems in order to develop the behaviors into desirable social skills. The subjects were 217 children, from three to four years old, living in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province, who attended daycare centers. Surveys were given to the mothers and teachers of the children. To analyze statistics, the t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and hierarchical regression analysis were used. First, significant differences were found in children s behavioral problems according to socio-demographic variables. Second, relations between the individual variables and overall behavioral problems (hostile-aggressive behaviors, anxious-fearful behaviors, and hyperactive-distractible behaviors) were analyzed. Third, relative influence levels of individual variables that affect overall behavioral problems and sub-variables were analyzed. In particular, the teacher-child relationships were found to be the most important influencers of overall behavioral problems and sub-variables.
