기독교 유아교육의 생태적 접근을 위한 고찰

A Study of an Ecological Approach for Christian Early Childhood Education

본 연구는 기독교의 생태적 위기에 대한 이해와 유아에 대한 이해를 기초로 하여 기독교 유아교육의 생태적 접근을 위한 방향을 모색하고자 하였다. 기독교의 생태적 이해를 생태적 위기에 대한 기독교 책임 논란에 이어 자연에 대한 기독교의 이해를 탐색하였다. 또한 기독교에 근거한 유아에 대한 이해를 창조, 관계, 출산, 존재의 관점에서 분석한 결과 하나님의 형상으로서의 유아, 자연인으로서의 유아, 축복으로서의 유아, 전인적 존재인 유아로 고찰하였다. 기독교의 생태적 유아교육 실천 원리는 유아교육내용의 원리로 영과 삶을 살펴보았고, 유아교육방법의 원리로 관계와 교통을 탐색하였으며, 유아교육환경의 원리는 자연의 동산으로 고찰하였다.

This study aimed to discover the meaning of life and creation from the Christian Redemptive Perspective, and to identify direction for ecological approach of Christianity in early childhood education. It sought to facilitate an understanding of Christian-based early childhood education, steeped in a Christian ecological understanding. The study explored the debate on the responsibility of Christianity in an ecological crisis. It also explored the ecological understanding of nature and humankind in Christian context. Additionally, within Christianity, early childhood has been understood to be multi-faceted, viewing children as being created in the image of God, as being unique individuals, as being blessed beings, and as being whole and complete. Christian ecological early childhood education focuses on the following three concepts: care of the soul and life, which are principles of early childhood education content; relationship and communication, which are the principles of early childhood education methods; and the idea of the natural garden, which is a principle of an early childhood education environment.
