대구지역 유아교육기관의 지역사회자원 활용실태 및 적용타당성 조사

A Study on the Actual Use and Appropriateness of Community Resources in Early Childhood Education Centers in Daegu Province

본 연구는 다양한 문화적 자원이 잘 보존되어 있고 자연적 자원 또한 풍부한 대구지역에 소재한 유치원과 어린이집의 지역사회자원 활용실태와 적용타당성을 알아보는 것으로서 본 연구를 통해 지역사회의 다양한 자원을 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 31개 유아교육기관을 대상으로 지역사회자원 활용실태를 조사하고 유치원과 어린이집의 원장과 교사 162명을 대상으로 지역사회자원의 적용타당성에 대해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조사대상 대구지역 유치원과 어린이집에서 연간 활용하는 지역사회자원은 자연적 자원, 인적자원, 문화적 자원, 물적 자원의 순이었다. 또한 구체적인 지역사회자원으로는 ‘건강검진이나 신체검사 등을 위한 (보건)전문가’(인적 자원), ‘인근 초등학교 방문(자연적 자원) 및 초등교사’(인적 자원), ‘교통랜드(교통안전체험장)’(자연적 자원), ‘박물관 및 전시회 관람’(자연적 자원․문화적 자원), ‘인근 공원과 식물원(수목원)’(자연적 자원) 등의 순으로 많은 기관에서 활용하고 있었다. 둘째, 지역사회자원의 적용타당성은 생활주제 ‘계절(봄, 여름, 가을, 겨울)에 대한 자연적 자원의 활용이 가장 높게 나타났고 자원의 종류별로는 자연적 자원, 문화적 자원, 인적 자원, 물적 자원의 순으로 적용타당성이 나타났다. 지역사회자원의 적용타당성을 긍정적으로 평가한 이유와 부정적으로 평가한 이유는 자원의 종류에 따라 이유가 다양한 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to determine the actual use and appropriateness of community resources in early childhood education centers in Daegu Metropolitan City. The study was conducted in two steps. In the first step, we collected data about the actual use of community resources in 31 early childhood education centers in Daegu province. In the second step, we collected the opinions of faculty working in the 162 early childhood education center s asking them about the appropriateness of using on community resources. The results are as follows.:First, In Daegu province, the using frequency of community resources for one year revealed natural resources, human resources, cultural resources, material resources in the order. Early childhood education centers mainly utilized employ elementary school teachers and people to staff health centers as human resources. Second, opinion about the appropriateness of using community resources revealed the use of ‘natural resources’ about a theme of the ‘seasons(spring, summer, fall, and winter)’ was the highest. The appropriateness of community resources revealed natural resources, cultural resources, human resources, material resources in the order.
