민간어린이집 원장의 운영관리의 어려움과 해결을 위한 노력

The difficulties and Efforts to Solve in Managing Private Child-care Institute

본 연구는 민간어린이집 원장들의 운영관리의 어려움과 이를 극복해 가는 노력과정을 심층면담을 통해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과 민간어린이집 원장들의 운영관리의 어려움은 보육과정의 원활하지 못한 실행, 교사 간 갈등과 잦은 이동, 수용하기 힘든 부모의 요구, 지역사회와 함께 가기, 어렵기만 한 재정 등으로 나타났다. 민간어린이집 원장들은 각고의 노력을 통해 이러한 어려움을 해결하기 위하여 노력하고 있었는데 그 구체적인 노력들은 공감하기, 보상하기, 교육하기, 절충하기 등이었다. 이는 제도적 뒷받침이 취약한 상태에서 민간어린이집 원장들의 나름의 노력으로 어린이집의 효율적인 운영관리를 위한 하나의 방안으로 제시되어질 수 있다.

This study aimed to find the difficulties in managing private child-care institutes and the process of efforts to overcome it in a way of depth interview. The result of this study revealed those difficulties were such as non-efficient implementation of child-care process, conflict and frequent transfers of teachers, unacceptable requests by parents, co-work with local society and financial suffering. Private institutes has been implementing many efforts to get over these difficulties through activities such as sympathy, compensation, education, negotiation and so on. These efforts can be examples of managing private institutes efficiently in a weak institutional supporting situation.
