An Investigative Study on the Early Childhood Education Environment through the Reflective Discussion: On the View of Eco Early Childhood Education

본 연구는 현행 유아교육환경의 문제점이 무엇인가를 반성적으로 논의하고, 이를 개선하기 위한 방안의 모색을 생태유아교육의 관점에서 탐색하고자 하였다. 우선 현재 유아와 교사에게 당면해 있는 유아교육환경의 특성을 고찰해 보고, 국내외 유아교육환경을 탐색하여 생태유아교육의 관점에서 실현할 수 있는 유아교육환경의 방안을 재발견해 보고자 하였다. 그 결과, 생태유아교육환경의 접근방안으로 정체성을 확립한 돌봄환경, 자연으로 열어가는 생명환경, 일상으로 엮어가는 생활환경, 연결과 열림의 소통환경, 유아교육공동체로 맺어가는 유대환경을 특성화로 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to find what are the problems in the early childhood education environment and to investigate methods of improvement on the view of eco early childhood education. The early childhood education environment was explored by searching the education environment to the infant and teacher and by integrating on the domestic and foreign infant education environment as a reflective discussion to the infant education environment. In result, the methods of improvement on the view of eco early childhood education were appeared as follows: the caring environment which acquired the identity, life environment which opens to the nature, living environment intertwined with daily life, communication environment of link and open, relational environment which connects to the infant education community.
