한국 유아교육사 연구의 현황과 과제 및 생태유아교육학의 위상

The current situation and problems in studying the Korean history of early childhood education, and the status of eco-early childhood education

초록

본 연구는 한국 유아교육사 연구의 현황과 과제를 살펴보고, 1990년대 초 한국에서 태동한 생태유아교육학의 위상에 대해 개략적으로 살펴보았다. 먼저, 한국 유아교육사 연구 현황은 1970년대부터 최근까지의 저서, 논문 및 기타 관련 연구물 등 3부류로 나누어 살펴본 결과 양적․질적 수준에서 극히 미진한 것으로 밝혀졌는데, 이는 유아교육학계에서 유아교육사 연구 분야는 물론 전공 연구자도 거의 없는 실정을 그대로 반영한 것이다. 다음으로 한국 유아교육사 연구의 과제는 유아교육사 연구에 대한 인식 전환, 민족교육사적 관점에서의 한국 유아교육사 연구, 한국유아교육사 교재 개발, 유아교육사 연구의 활성화 및 전문 연구인력 양성 등으로 파악되었다. 마지막으로 생태유아교육학의 위상 부분은 생태유아교육의 의미, 생태유아교육학의 성립과 연구 현황 및 과제에 대해 살펴보았다.

This study was to explore the current situation and problems in studying the Korean history of early childhood education, and roughly examine the status of eco-early childhood education which has developed in Korea since the beginning of 1990s. First of all, the current situation of the Korean history of early childhood was examined to divide into three parts such as books, articles, and other kinds of research materials from 1970 up to recently, and the result showed extreme insignificance at quantitative and qualitative level, which demonstrated that there were few researchers as well as researches for studying the history of early childhood education in the field of early childhood education. Secondly, it was discovered that the problems in studying the Korean history of early childhood education was to change the perception of studying the history of early childhood education, make research from the aspect of history of national education, develop the materials for the Korean history of early childhood education, activate the research of the history of early childhood education, and train the specialized researchers. Finally, the status of eco-early childhood education was investigated on the meaning, realization, research state, and tasks of eco-early childhood education.
