The Bringing up of Children in Korean Traditonal Society

이 연구는 우리 조상들의 아이 키우기의 특징을 서술한 글이다. 연구자는 이 글에서 우리 조상들의 아이 키우기를 집안 에서의 아이 키우기라는 측면으로 한정하고, 그 특징을 다음의 세 가지 측면에서 고찰하였따. 첫째, 출생의례나 성장의례와 같은 집안의 각종 의례를 통한 아이 키우기를 고찰하였다. 둘？？, 집안 이라는 물리적 육아 환경과 민간신앙과의 관계를 고찰하였다. 셋？？, 집안 사람들에 의한 아이 키우기를 고찰하였따. 결론적으로, 우리 조상들의 아이 키우기는 오늘날의 입장에서 볼 때, 생태유아교육의 뿌리라고 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the distinction of Korean childhood education in traditional society based on the method of bringing up children by our forefather. The results of this study are as follows : First, the bringing up of children in Korean traditional society was accomplished by family rites, like a birth rite and a growth rite. Second, it was accountes much of home circumstance, which is affected by gods of shamanism. Third, children in Korean traditional society was not brought by specialists, but broought up by whole family members consistently. Fourth, our forefather brought up children based on ecological system.
