생태유아교육기관 전환컨설팅에 참여한 교사의 변화

Changes in teachers in the ecological early childhood education center via conversion consulting

본 연구는 생태유아교육기관 전환컨설팅에 참여한 교사의 변화를 질적으로 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 P시에 위치한 생태전환컨설팅에 참여한 어린이집의 원장과 교사 총 13명을 대상으로 2020년 8월부터 10월까지 개별 면담을 시행하여 자료를 수집하였고, 귀납적 분석법을 활용하여 주제 범주를 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 생태유아교육기관 전환컨설팅에 참여한 교사의 변화는 첫째, 틀에서 자유로워지기로, 익숙함을 벗어나 현장을 다시 바라보고, 안전을 넘어 놀이를 지원하는 모습으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아이 삶에서 출발하는 교육으로, 교육에서 아이의 관점을 반영하여 아이 주도로 놀이와 일과를 운영하고, 아이 중심으로 생활환경을 개선하는 모습으로 바뀌었다. 셋째, 지속 가능한 삶을 위한 실천으로, 교사가 자신의 삶을 생태적으로 살아가고, 부모와 함께 공동체적인 삶을 만들기 위해 노력하였다. 이는 생태전환컨설팅을 통하여 교사가 아이의 역량을 재인식 및 신뢰하게 되었고, 교육과정을 운영하는 데 있어 유아 중심의 놀이를 지원하는 등 전문인으로서 한걸음 성장하는 계기가 되었다.

This study qualitatively examined the practical changes in teachers via conversion consulting for the Eco Early Childhood Education Center. To this end, data were collected by conducting semi-structured interviews from August to October 2020 for a total of 13 teachers and Principals of daycare centers who participated in ecological conversion consulting located in City P, and the subject categories were derived using inductive analysis. The result revealed that the change in teachers who participated in the conversion consulting for eco early childhood education centers, in the first, show that to be free from the frame, to avoid the familiarity and examine the field again, and to support play beyond safety. Second, changed to the education that starts from a child s life, operating a child-led play and daily routine in education reflecting the child s viewpoint, to improve the child-centered living environment. Third, as a practice for a sustainable life, teachers live their lives ecologically and try to create a community life with parents as well as other teachers. This became re-recognized and trusted for teachers the child s ability through ecological conversion consulting, and a process to grow one step forward as a professional by supporting child-centered play, etc in operating the curriculum.
