Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of self-efficacy and stress coping styles on school adjustment of nursing student. Methods: Data were collected from 186 nursing students in one college of Korea from August 1 to September 29, 2021. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, an independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson s correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: A positive correlation was found for school adjustment with self-efficacy and stress coping styles. self-efficacy (=.48, p<.001), stress coping styles (=.24, p<.001), grade point average (=.16, p=.005) and subjective health status (=.15, p=.003) were all significant predictors of school adjustment. The model explained 53.4% of the variables. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that self-efficacy and stress coping styles should be considered when developing strategies to increase school adjustment of nursing student.
